World Canals Conference

Every year, people interested in canals gather for the World Canals Conference.  Currently, in odd numbered years, the conference is at a location in Europe while in even numbered years, it is in North America.  The conference for 2003 was in Edinburgh, Scotland in late September.  The conference in 2004 was in early June along the Welland Canals in St. Catharines, Ontario, Canada.  The Conference in 2005 was in Sweden.  The 2006 Conference was in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, September 12 -14.  The 2007 Conference was in Liverpool, England, June 13 - 15, 2007.  The 2008 conference will be in Kingston, Ontario, Canada along the Rideau Canal, September 15 - 17, 2008.
