Delaware Canal
Culvert under Tyburn Road looking northward
3/30/03
The lower road is a driveway to an auto scrapyard to the right. The upper road is the 4 lane Tyburn road entrance to the former steel mill built in the 1950s by the state. The road crosses both Old Bristol Pike and the Northeast Corridor on bridges, but uses a fill across the canal, despite it being a state park. A typical example of the attitude of that eras highway builders.
